Situada en el fértil valle que forman las cuencas de los ríos Tajo y Jarama, en un privilegiado escenario natural y cultural se encuentra la Villa de Aranjuez, uno de los Reales Sitios de la Corona de España. Los célebres jardines del palacio han sido inscritos junto al entorno natural que rodea el municipio, en el que se encuentran las vegas y los huertos históricos, en 2001 en la lista de la UNESCO como Paisaje Cultural Patrimonio de la Humanidad.

The Villa de Aranjuez is located in the fertile valley formed by the basins of the Tagus and Jarama rivers, a privileged natural and cultural setting, and is one of the Royal Estates of the Crown of Spain. The well-known palace gardens along with the city’s natural surroundings, where the water meadows and historical vegetable gardens can be found, were registered as a World Heritage Cultural Landscape by UNESCO in 2001.
